Domestic Violence Awareness Month evolved from the first Day of Unity observed in October, 1981 by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

In memory of the women and men who  have fallen victim to such heinous acts, we remember you today. If you know someone who lost their life due to domestic violence, please place their name and age on this page.

We pray for the families who have lost their loved ones to this most deplorable form of humanity.
