GET YOUR GROOVE BACK LADIES

black white friendshipGet Your Groove Back- Ladies, we are the most beautiful creatures on the face of this earth. We were conceived from Adam’s rib because God did not want Adam (man) to be alone. So, do you realize how much power we have been given to be women, mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, mothers, entrepreneurs , businesswomen, etc. Let our lights shine as the beauty of the rising sun. We are held in high esteem but we must take our roles seriously. It is an honor to be created for the purpose of being a mate to a wonderful man, provider, friend, lover, confidant and husband. Rise to the occasion. Be proud of being a WOMAN!!!

Peace Be Still

Good morning family and friends,
Start the week expecting prayers to be answered. Never give up on God because He will never give up on you! Meditate/pray every morning and always give thanks in the midst of your storm. He knows what you are going through and all He requires from you is trust. The storm will rage and when He knows you are ready to receive the blessing, He will whisper “Peace be still.” Have a blessed week!

His Merices Are New EVERY Morning

RSWY CEO Gwen OwensFor some time I’ve had health challenges and they began to weigh heavily on my heart and my spirit was broken. However, God brought to the forefront of my mind the miracles He has performed in my life.

After educating children and adults for 14 years, I was told at the end of the 2011-2012 school year “you’re not a good fit.” I knew that statement had nothing to do with my job performance but it have EVERYTHING to do with being on sick leave for 4 months. I struggled with that but I remembered that if God touched my body and made me whole after being placed in a coma, on a respirator, having physical therapy to learn how to walk again then there is NOTHING too hard for Him. Every heartache, disappointment, rejection and illness gave me purpose-to tell the world of His goodness and mercy.

I am no different from you; I have my days. However, one thing I am certain of is God’s love for me and He promised that He would NEVER leave nor forsake me. Sometimes I shed tears and even in my weakness I question the direction he is taking me. But, at the end of the day, I understand my purpose.

Don’t give up on God because He knows and cares about your situation. It’s only temporary. As long as God exist there is hope.

Just in Case…

Until God Opens the next door, you will praise Him in the hallway!!!

Until God Opens the next door, you will praise Him in the hallway!!!

When your circumstances look bleak, the situtation has gone on for a long period of time and everything points to hopelessness, always trust and believe that God STILL performs miracles.
He is working on your behalf everyday. He will strenghten you at your lowest point:

*bills are past due- he will send you a blessing or cancel the debt

*home is in forclosure-the Son of Man had nowhere to lay his head but He makes provisions for His children

*sickness and disease-he can touch you and make you whole

*wayward children-pray without ceasing and don’t give up; God
can make that child humble as a lamb

*marriage in crisis-he can restore it

*death of a loved one-he will give you peace

…and just in case God does not answer the way you want Him to know that he has something bigger, better and brighter for your future! Believe!!!

How Did You Do It?

RSWY CEO Gwen OwensPeople ask me all the time, “how did you overcome adversity?” I DECIDED that I wanted more out of life and I was through feeling sorry for myself. It was that simple. The process was sometimes difficult but I would not trade the life God has given me. I learned to take one minute at a time and embrace me. I know what it is like to be broken; but, I know what joy and being whole feels like, too. I have peace even when things are off course because I know there is someone much greater than me. He made promises and I can count on Him to keep them. He doesn’t lie and he is merciful and kind. He never said it would be easy but he promised to comfort and keep me. I believe you know Him, too! Just step out on faith and believe.

Unto Us A Child Is Born…Happy Holidays

Jesus

Jesus (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Even though we don’t know the exact day that Christ was born, we are grateful that he sacrificed his life for the sins of this world/mankind. So, I personally  want to take the the time and acknowledge the birth of the Savior. The three wise men went to Bethlehem and gave baby Jesus their most expensive treasures because the King of Kings was born. Happy birthday to my intercessor, wonderful counselor, and  prince of peace. Because of you, grace and mercy has been granted to my sinful soul. “Glory to the highest, peace on earth and good will towards ALL men.” Happy birthday Jesus!

Happy Holidays to each of you from Relationships Start With You! Whatever denomination you are affiliated with the one thing we have in common is our belief in God. I pray for prosperity, healing, love, forgiveness, grace and mercy for each of you. May you be elevated in your “going out and coming in.”

Blessings to you and the success of your business in 2013!

Thanksgiving and Prayer

I would like to wish everyone a blessed Thanksgiving.   I solicit your prayers.  I am going to Pearland, Texas to visit my family. My mother has been ill off and on this year and now she is in CCU. Daddy is rarely ill; he’s 87 years young but he was taken to the ER twice this week.

Family means everything to me. I love them dearly and I ask God to place His healing hands on my mother and father. They are elderly and each day is precious. I moved away 3 years ago and it breaks my heart when my parents are not feeling well.

One thing I do know is God answers prayers. The Word of God says,”by His stripes  we are healed.” So,today I claim the victory for my parents !!!

Also, my children lost their paternal grandmother in June so the holidays have been very hard for the entire family. Father, give them peace, help them to remember the good times and the love she gave to each of them.

Again, thank you in advance for your prayers. Those of you who are traveling, I pray for safe passage in your going out and coming in.

Blessings,

RSWY
